Well, it's 2012 and it's 1:06 AM. I guess it's time for a couple of random thoughts.
2011...not bad at all.
The year 2011 was a good year, but not a great year. While a couple of things didn't go my way unfortunately, it was still a good year. I still have a job, I'm in Grad school, and I'm a grad assistant. God has blessed me this year, and all of the other years as well. As for the bad....well, it sucks and it still sucks, but I'll get over it. I do look upon 2012 with optimism and a little bit of curiosity. I really don't have any resolutions, but I do have some things that I really want to do in the next year: build a better relationship with God, start vigorously looking for jobs and internships, and other things.
X-Men Month!!!
Well, January begins X-Men month. My decision to do the X-Men mostly stems from the fact that they were the first superhero team I was exposed to when I was little. The comics, the TV show, and the games were what got me hooked, especially the TV show. I don't know how many times I have watched the first season of X-Men: TAS. I could probably quote most of those episodes right now. Let's see (and no, I'm not looking anything up this time):

I could probably quote most of those episodes right now. Let's see (and no, I'm not looking anything up this time):
- "I go...where I wanna go."
- "I summon the full power of the Storm!"
- "What's wrong? someone from the future stealin' your car?"
- "I am in your mind!"
- "You lookin' for me? I know I am!"
- "The X-Men are the assassins!"
- "Don't go too far back, 'no?"
- "I got one!"
- (Last one) "AHHHH! YOU ARE DRIVING ME INSANE!"
- Okay, enough's enough.
It's going to go like this. For the comics I have one early Claremont issue, a Claremont/Lee arc, something by Mark Millar, and a surprise. For TV, X-Men: TAS, X-Men Evolution, Pryde of the X-Men (Oh yes...I'm doing it), and another surprise. Then, there are the movies except for the Wolverine one (May save it for later). I also may even throw in a video game. Last, but not least, Top X-Men and Top Villains.

Well, I guess it's time to get some sleep. Take care and Happy New Year!
