Random Pics of the Month - Dec.

Hey all. As for every month, here are the random pics for this Christmas-y month:

Wow, I wonder if Batman is soprano or bass...

This is the only way I'll ever get in a pic with Zac Efron

Why is this here? Simple: my sister got me a Captain America shirt. It's weird because I have been looking for Brubraker's run on the book.

So Merry Christmas and God Bless.

Random Thoughts #21

Well, I'm at work and there's nothing much to do. It's the week before Christmas after all. I think it's time for another episode of Random Thoughts.

Grad School
Not my best pic, but oh well.

Well, it's official. I am a Master of Science! It took over a year to do this venture, and Saturday was the day to get my degree...or some if it. I have to wait a month to get the actual degree. That sucks, but I had to wait a month before I got my actual B.A. Grad school had its good as well as its bad, but it was a great experience overall. I thank God for the chance to do something worthwhile and I thank Him for helping me in those stressful times. I also thank my parents for encouraging me and my teachers for giving me the chance to strut. I also met some cool people. Well, now what? Since this is over, what should I do now?

X-Men Month!

Yeah, it's coming back. Next month (or sometime later this month), I'm pretty much going to hit the rest of the X-stuff I didn't get to do last year. I'll hit the other stories I missed on, the other TV shows, that "Wolverine" movie, and a couple of surprises.

...................................................

Well, I guess it's time to get back to some work or something. Peace and God Bless.

Tales From the 50 Cent Bin! - Quantum Leap #13: Time and Space

....Yes, there was a Quantum Leap book. Before one can even comprehend that statement, he or she must ask this: "What is Quantum Leap?"

For those who don't know, QL was a scifi show that aired on NBC in the late 80's and early 90's. The show dealt with time travel in a unusal and unique way...I'll let the intro explain it to you. Unfortunately, it got cancelled and it ended pretty disappointing. I harped on that ending here a while back. I missed the show while it was on, but did see some of it on the Scifi Channel (aka the Channel Formally Known as Scifi). It's not my favorite show, but it is still pretty interesting. Seeing Sam and Al deal with those situations is fun.

A few weeks ago, I found this issue in a 50 cent longbox and knew I had to talk about it.  It was done by some company called Innovation. The series lasted for about a few issues before the company basically went out of business. I can actually see why right on the cover. That issue went for $2.95 back then. Yeah, I could make a joke about it, but that's a lot for that time.  Apparently, Innovation wasn't that innovative. Anyway, this was the last issue of the run. Is it good? Let find out, shall we?

Weird Star Trek Eps. - Spock's Brain aka"...Wait. What is this called again?"

Need I say more? This is an episode where Spock's brain is stolen. Is it a a bad one? Eh...it's not the best from the series. It's from Season 3 which is the weakest of the three seasons. The episode is still a hoot especially when the crew is dealing with the captors. It's also all taken so serieously at times to the point where you might think you're looking at a parody.

Favorite Moments:
Scotty's "Distraction"- Warning: you will laugh.

-RoboSpock - Yes, using a remote control to move a Vulcan around sounds like riveting television, don't you think?
Kirk: McCoy, what the hell were you drinking?

-The fine-looking but stupid leader - Lastly, there's the leader of this hot-looking but stupid team. Is it wrong for me to say she's hot? No? Good.
Kara:Ooooo....

Well, that was fun. Hopefully the next episode I briefly talk about is a little better...
